Tirtha: Uttara-Rāmanātha liṅga with Hanumat-puccha-cihna; Gaurī-sthāna
Type: temple
Listener: Ṛṣis/Brāhmaṇas
Scene: A liṅga clearly seen by all, encircled by Hanumān’s tail; three distinct folds/lines appear on the liṅga from the tail’s pressure; nearby, a shrine or image of Gaurī is being established with joy in the northern direction.
Devotional service leaves sacred ‘signs’ that sanctify place and object; Setu’s liṅga is portrayed as bearing visible testimony to Hanūmān’s bhakti.
The northern quarter of the Setu/Rāmanātha sacred complex where liṅga and Gaurī are said to be established.
Establishing (saṃsthāpana) of Gaurī alongside the liṅga, reinforcing Śiva-Śakti worship at the tīrtha.
