निर्मितं वै गुणैरादौ मह द्द्रव्यं प्रचक्ष्यते

nirmitaṃ vai guṇairādau maha ddravyaṃ pracakṣyate

Am Anfang, wahrlich, aus den Guṇas entsteht, so heißt es, das große Prinzip, genannt „Mahat“.
