Skanda (deduced from Dharmāraṇya-khaṇḍa narrative style within Brahmakhaṇḍa)
Type: ghat
Scene: A learned brāhmaṇa stands waist-deep in clear water, eyes half-closed, reciting Aghamarṣaṇa; ripples circle outward as if sins dissolve into light.
Sin is removed through disciplined mantra-practice aligned with Ṛta (truth/order), not by casual ritual.
No single tīrtha is named; the emphasis is on universally applicable mantra-vidhi within the Dharmāraṇya teaching.
While immersed in water, the Aghamarṣaṇa is to be recited three times by one who knows the proper procedure.
