अतो जगत्स्थितं सर्वं ब्राह्मणोऽर्हति नापरः । सदाचारो हि सर्वार्हो नाचाराद्विच्युतः पुनः
ato jagatsthitaṃ sarvaṃ brāhmaṇo'rhati nāparaḥ | sadācāro hi sarvārho nācārādvicyutaḥ punaḥ
Darum ruht die Beständigkeit der ganzen Welt auf dem Dharma, und der Brāhmaṇa ist der Ehrenwürdige—kein anderer in gleichem Maße; denn wer in guter Lebensführung steht, ist aller Verehrung würdig, wer aber von der Lebensführung abfällt, ist es nicht mehr.
