Transliteration

martyaloke mahādeva pretanātho mahākṛtiḥ | ātmakāryaṃ mahāghoraṃ kleśayediti niścayaḥ

Translation

„In der Welt der Sterblichen, o Mahādeva, hat der Herr der Pretas—von gewaltiger Gestalt—beschlossen, ein eigenes, höchst schreckliches Vorhaben auszuführen und die Welten zu bedrängen.“
