Kṛpā-sindhu (epithet of Śiva, in context)
Tirtha: Dharmāraṇya
Type: kshetra
Scene: Śiva, called ‘ocean of compassion’, instructs ‘perform according to rule’ and then sets out from Kailāsa toward Dharmāraṇya with purposeful momentum—divine journey as sacral cartography.
Compassion and discipline belong together: grace is given, but practice must follow vidhi (right method).
Dharmāraṇya is explicitly named, and Śiva’s movement toward it elevates its sanctity within the narrative.
“Sādhayasva yathāvidhi”—perform the practice strictly according to prescribed procedure.
