Transliteration

śivoddeśaṃ mahāghoramekāṃguṣṭhena bhārata | urddhvabāhurmahātejāḥ sūryasyābhimukho'bhavat

Translation

O Bhārata, den Geist auf ein höchst furchterregendes Ziel gerichtet—allein auf Śiva—stand er mit erhobenen Armen, von mächtigem Glanz, der Sonne zugewandt, auf einer einzigen Zehe balancierend.
