ततः पितृगृहं गंतुं कृतबुद्धिर्यशस्विनी । छायामाहूयात्मनस्तु सा देवी दयिता रवेः
tataḥ pitṛgṛhaṃ gaṃtuṃ kṛtabuddhiryaśasvinī | chāyāmāhūyātmanastu sā devī dayitā raveḥ
Daraufhin, entschlossen, zum Haus ihres Vaters zu gehen, rief die ruhmreiche Göttin — Sūryas Geliebte — Chāyā herbei, damit sie an ihrer Statt sei.
