श्रीमाताद्यास्तदा देव्यः कोपिता राक्षसेन वै । घातयंत्येव शब्देन तर्जयित्वा च राक्षसम्
śrīmātādyāstadā devyaḥ kopitā rākṣasena vai | ghātayaṃtyeva śabdena tarjayitvā ca rākṣasam
Da gerieten die Göttinnen—Śrīmātā und die anderen—über jenen Rākṣasa in Zorn. Mit donnernden Rufen bedrohten sie ihn, als wollten sie ihn sogleich niederschlagen.
