कथाः पुण्या धर्मयुता रम्या व्यासमुखाच्छ्रुताः । धर्मकामार्थसंयुक्ताः सर्वाघौघविनाशिनीः

kathāḥ puṇyā dharmayutā ramyā vyāsamukhācchrutāḥ | dharmakāmārthasaṃyuktāḥ sarvāghaughavināśinīḥ

Diese Erzählungen sind heilig, von Dharma erfüllt und lieblich—aus dem eigenen Mund Vyāsas vernommen. Mit Dharma, Kāma und Artha verbunden, vernichten sie die ganze Flut der Sünden.
