पुराणमखिलं तात पुरा तेऽधीतवान्पिता । कच्चित्त्वयापि तत्सर्वमधीतं लोमहर्षणे
purāṇamakhilaṃ tāta purā te'dhītavānpitā | kaccittvayāpi tatsarvamadhītaṃ lomaharṣaṇe
«Lieber Sohn, einst hat dein Vater das gesamte Purāṇa studiert. O Lomaharṣaṇa, hast auch du es vollständig erlernt?»
