यदेषा मदवेगांधा चक्रे पापं महोल्बणम् । कर्मणा तेन जात्यंधा बभूवात्रैव जन्मनि

Transliteration

yadeṣā madavegāṃdhā cakre pāpaṃ maholbaṇam | karmaṇā tena jātyaṃdhā babhūvātraiva janmani

Translation

Weil sie, vom Rauschdrang geblendet, eine überaus schwere Sünde beging, wurde sie durch eben dieses Karma in diesem Leben von Geburt an blind.
