वामदेव उवाच । एष मद्गात्रलग्नस्य प्रभावो भस्मनो महान् । यत्संपर्कात्तमोवृत्तेस्तवेयं मतिरुत्तमा
vāmadeva uvāca | eṣa madgātralagnasya prabhāvo bhasmano mahān | yatsaṃparkāttamovṛttestaveyaṃ matiruttamā
Vāmadeva sprach: „Dies ist die große Wirkkraft des heiligen Bhasma, der heiligen Asche, die an meinem Körper haftet. Durch ihre bloße Berührung hat sich dein Geist, der einst zur Finsternis neigte, nun dem höchsten Erkennen zugewandt.“
