punnāgavanavibhrāṃtapuṃskokilavirāviṇi | vasantasamaye ramye vijahāra striyā saha

Translation

In der lieblichen Frühlingszeit, in einem Punnāga‑Hain, der vom Ruf umherflatternder männlicher Kokila‑Kuckucke widerhallte, ergötzte sich der König dort zusammen mit seiner Gemahlin.
