एष ते तनयो राजञ्छैशवे रोगपीडितः । त्वया वने परित्यक्तः सह मात्रा रुजार्तया

eṣa te tanayo rājañchaiśave rogapīḍitaḥ | tvayā vane parityaktaḥ saha mātrā rujārtayā

„Dies ist dein Sohn, o König, seit der Kindheit von Krankheit gepeinigt. Du hast ihn im Wald ausgesetzt, zusammen mit seiner Mutter, die selbst von Schmerz bedrängt war.“
