Transliteration

svadāranirataiḥ śāntaiḥ paradāravivarjakaiḥ | vedābhyasanaśīlaiśca svakarmanirataiḥ śubhaiḥ

Translation

(Das Śrāddha soll vollzogen werden) mit Brāhmaṇas, die ihrer rechtmäßigen Gattin ergeben sind, friedvoll im Wandel, die die Frau eines anderen meiden, im Vedenstudium eifrig und standhaft in ihren rechten Pflichten—tugendhafte Männer.
