उमारुद्राङ्गसम्भूता येन चैषा महानदी । लोकान्प्रापयते स्वर्गं तेन पुण्यत्वमागता

umārudrāṅgasambhūtā yena caiṣā mahānadī | lokānprāpayate svargaṃ tena puṇyatvamāgatā

Weil dieser große Fluss aus dem Leibe Umās und Rudras hervorging und weil er die Wesen zum Himmel geleitet, hat er dadurch den Rang höchster Verdienstfülle und Heiligkeit erlangt.
