„Wer bist du, o Devī, die du an diesem heiligen Ort weilst und Śiva verehrst? Und all die Frauen, die gekommen sind—wohin sind sie gegangen? Und wo sind jene Gaṇeśvaras, Śivas Gefolge?“
Narrator (questioning the celestial maiden)
Tirtha: Revā-tīra puravara/kṣetra (episode locus)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī-like immortal maiden
Scene: The narrator addresses the divine maiden as Devī, asking her identity and why she dwells in the sacred city worshipping Śiva; he also asks where the other women and Śiva’s gaṇas have gone—an investigative devotional moment.
Respectful questioning in a holy place becomes the doorway to learning the tīrtha’s hidden greatness and divine order.
The ‘pura’ (sacred precinct) within Revā-kṣetra where Śiva is worshipped.
Śiva-arcana is referenced as the ongoing practice of the देवी (devi).
