Transliteration

mārkaṇḍeya uvāca | punaryugānte samprāpte tṛtīye nṛpasattama | dādaśārkavapurbhūtvā bhagavānnīlalohitaḥ

Translation

Mārkaṇḍeya sprach: Als erneut der dritte Yugānta eintrat, o Bester der Könige, nahm der selige Herr Nīlalohita eine Gestalt an, die wie zwölf Sonnen loderte.
