श्रुतं च तन्मया सर्वं दानधर्मफलं शुभम् । पूर्वजन्मार्जितं पापं स्नानदानव्रतादिभिः

śrutaṃ ca tanmayā sarvaṃ dānadharmaphalaṃ śubham | pūrvajanmārjitaṃ pāpaṃ snānadānavratādibhiḥ

„All dies habe ich vernommen: die glückverheißenden Früchte der Dharma des Gebens. Sünden, die in früheren Geburten angesammelt wurden, werden durch heilige Bäder, durch Spenden, durch Gelübde und ähnliche Übungen vernichtet.“
