मृगयायां गमिष्यामि तिष्ठध्वं राज्यपालने । गम्यतां सचिवैः प्रोक्ते गतोऽसौ वसुधाधिपः
mṛgayāyāṃ gamiṣyāmi tiṣṭhadhvaṃ rājyapālane | gamyatāṃ sacivaiḥ prokte gato'sau vasudhādhipaḥ
«Ich werde zur Jagd aufbrechen; bleibt ihr bei der Wahrung und dem Schutz des Reiches.» Als die Minister erwiderten: «So sei es; geh», zog jener Herr der Erde davon.
