Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 3
ईश्वर उवाच । उपाविशन्तु ते सर्वे ये केचन समागताः । निहतो दानवो ह्येष गीर्वाणार्थे पितामह
īśvara uvāca | upāviśantu te sarve ye kecana samāgatāḥ | nihato dānavo hyeṣa gīrvāṇārthe pitāmaha
Īśvara sprach: „Alle, die sich hier versammelt haben, sollen Platz nehmen. Dieser Dānava ist wahrlich zum Wohle der Götter erschlagen worden, o Pitāmaha.“
