निहन्मि दानवं यावत्साहाय्यं कुरु सुन्दरि । एवमुक्ता तु सा दुर्गा पपौ च रुधिरं ततः
nihanmi dānavaṃ yāvatsāhāyyaṃ kuru sundari | evamuktā tu sā durgā papau ca rudhiraṃ tataḥ
„Während ich den Dānava erschlage, leiste Beistand, o Schöne.“ So angesprochen, trank Durgā daraufhin das Blut.
