Narrator (Purāṇic narrator within Revā Khaṇḍa context)
Tirtha: Revā-tīrtha (contextual)
Type: ghat
Scene: A symbolic tableau: the humble river-rite radiates as vast sacrificial fire; above, a luminous gateway to Rudrapura opens, with Śiva’s realm hinted beyond.
A tīrtha sanctified by Śiva can grant merits comparable to great Vedic sacrifices and lead the devotee to Rudra’s realm.
The Pippalāda-associated tīrtha in the Revā Khaṇḍa, whose fruits are declared Aśvamedha-like.
The verse states the fruit (phala); the preceding context implies tīrtha-snān and Śiva-pūjā as the practice.
