लुब्धाः पापानि कुर्वन्ति शुद्धांशा नैव मानवाः । श्रुत्वा धर्मस्य सर्वस्वं श्रुत्वा चैवावधार्य तत्

lubdhāḥ pāpāni kurvanti śuddhāṃśā naiva mānavāḥ | śrutvā dharmasya sarvasvaṃ śrutvā caivāvadhārya tat

Die Gierigen begehen Sünden; die Menschen sind in Wahrheit nicht rein in ihrem Anteil. Selbst nachdem sie das ganze Wesen des Dharma gehört haben—es gehört und erwogen—(stürzen sie doch durch Gier).
