Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) to the sages (deduced: Āvantya Khaṇḍa narrative style)
Tirtha: Revā-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: null
Scene: A devotee kneels with folded hands before a shrine of Śiva and Devī; nearby sits the brāhmaṇa-guru; the devotee offers a heartfelt apology. Devī is shown as Lalitā—graceful, regal—standing inseparably beside Śambhu.
Completion of worship requires humility—seeking forgiveness from deity and guru safeguards the rite from faults.
The verse is a concluding prayer formula within the Revā Khaṇḍa ritual context rather than a direct tīrtha description.
Perform kṣamā-yācñā (requesting pardon) addressed to the Goddess, God, and the brāhmaṇa-guru.
