Transliteration

śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca | sādhu pṛṣṭaṃ mahārāja yacchreyaḥ pāralaukikam | śṛṇuṣvāvahito bhūtvā yathājñānaṃ vadāmi te

Translation

Śrī Mārkaṇḍeya sprach: Wohl gefragt, o großer König, denn dies betrifft das höchste Heil jenseits dieser Welt. Höre mit voller Aufmerksamkeit; ich werde es dir nach meinem Verständnis darlegen.
