उपाध्यायमथोवाच नत्वा देवः कृताञ्जलिः । जले प्रक्षेपयाम्यद्य निष्प्रतिज्ञान् बटून् प्रभो
upādhyāyamathovāca natvā devaḥ kṛtāñjaliḥ | jale prakṣepayāmyadya niṣpratijñān baṭūn prabho
Da sprach Deva, nachdem er sich vor dem Lehrer verneigt und die Hände gefaltet hatte: „Herr, heute werde ich jene Schüler ins Wasser werfen, die ihrem Gelübde untreu geworden sind.“
