पुरोहितं समाहूय ब्राह्मणांश्च तथा बहून् । न गृहे कार्त्तिकीं कुर्यादेतन्मे बहुशः श्रुतम्
purohitaṃ samāhūya brāhmaṇāṃśca tathā bahūn | na gṛhe kārttikīṃ kuryādetanme bahuśaḥ śrutam
Er ließ seinen Purohita und viele Brahmanen rufen und sprach: „Man soll die Kārttikī-Observanz nicht im Hause vollziehen — so habe ich es oft gehört.“
