Tirtha: Revā-khaṇḍa (as a textual tīrtha) / Rudra-bhāṣita Purāṇa
Type: kshetra
Listener: Yudhiṣṭhira and the assembled sages/kinsmen (implied)
Scene: A sacred manuscript or oral recitation scene where Rudra’s words are invoked; listeners sit with devotion as a luminous aura suggests sin-destruction through sound.
Devotional listening (śravaṇa-bhakti) to Śiva-sanctioned Purāṇic teaching is itself a purifier and a source of merit.
The broader Revā Khaṇḍa (Narmadā sacred geography) is being framed as a sin-destroying revelation.
Śravaṇa—hearing the Purāṇa with bhakti—is presented as the key practice.
