Scene: Sage Māṇḍavya offers a serene hymn to the Goddess as the cosmic mother, with the universe subtly implied as her body—stars, worlds, and beings contained within her presence.
All auspiciousness and existence are rooted in Devī; recognizing her immanence nurtures reverence and right living.
This verse is theological praise within Revā Khaṇḍa; it prepares for the later listing of Devī’s famed sacred seats.
None directly; it is a stuti (hymn) establishing the devotional attitude for worship and pilgrimage.
