त्वया चात्र सदा देवि स्थातव्यं तीर्थसन्निधौ मार्कण्डेय उवाच । एवं भविष्यतीत्युक्त्वा देवी देवैरभिष्टुता
tvayā cātra sadā devi sthātavyaṃ tīrthasannidhau mārkaṇḍeya uvāca | evaṃ bhaviṣyatītyuktvā devī devairabhiṣṭutā
„Und du, o Devī, sollst hier immerdar in der Nähe dieses heiligen Tīrtha verweilen.“ Mārkaṇḍeya sprach: Nachdem die Göttin geantwortet hatte: „So soll es sein“, nahm sie—von den Göttern gepriesen—(den Auftrag an).
