Śiva (Īśvara)
Tirtha: Vṛṣakhāta; Bhṛgutīrtha
Type: ghat
Listener: Pilgrim-instruction recipient within narrative (viprendra/Bhṛgu context)
Scene: A pilgrim completes snāna and Śiva-pūjā, then performs tarpaṇa facing the water with cupped hands; subtle vision of a grand yajña-fire in the background symbolizing Sarvamedha equivalence.
Pilgrimage-dharma can concentrate great sacrificial merit; honoring ancestors and gods at a tīrtha becomes a powerful act of purification and gratitude.
Bhṛgutīrtha, praised as granting the fruit of the Sarvamedha sacrifice.
Snāna at Bhṛgutīrtha and tarpaṇa offerings to Pitṛs and devatās.
