Transliteration

etacchrutvā tu deveśaḥ prahasanpratyuvāca tām | vedavākye purāṇārthe smṛtyarthe dvijabhāṣite

Translation

Als der Herr der Götter dies hörte, antwortete er ihr lächelnd, gestützt auf das Wort der Veden, den Sinn der Purāṇas, die Absicht der Smṛtis und die Aussagen der gelehrten Zweimalgeborenen.
