तृप्तास्ते द्वादशाब्दानि सिद्धिं च सार्वकामिकीम् । गङ्गावहे तु यः श्राद्धं शङ्खोद्धारे प्रदास्यति
tṛptāste dvādaśābdāni siddhiṃ ca sārvakāmikīm | gaṅgāvahe tu yaḥ śrāddhaṃ śaṅkhoddhāre pradāsyati
Sie (die Ahnen) bleiben zwölf Jahre lang zufrieden, und man erlangt die Erfüllung aller Wünsche. Wahrlich, wer im Strom der Gaṅgā in Śaṅkhoddhāra ein Śrāddha darbringt, erlangt dies.
