Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 20

धिग्वादैर्निन्दितः सर्वैस्तैर्जनैर्भूषितः पुनः । राज्ञा च ब्राह्मणाः सर्वे भूषणाच्छादनाशनैः

dhigvādairninditaḥ sarvaistairjanairbhūṣitaḥ punaḥ | rājñā ca brāhmaṇāḥ sarve bhūṣaṇācchādanāśanaiḥ

Obwohl er von all jenen Leuten mit Rufen „Schande!“ getadelt worden war, wurde er erneut geehrt. Und auch der König ehrte alle Brāhmaṇas mit Schmuck, Gewändern und Speise.
