स्नात्वा तु विधिवत्पात्रे तदक्षयमुदाहृतम् । होमाद्दशगुणं प्रोक्तं फलं जाप्ये ततोऽधिकम्

snātvā tu vidhivatpātre tadakṣayamudāhṛtam | homāddaśaguṇaṃ proktaṃ phalaṃ jāpye tato'dhikam

Nach dem rituellen Bad wird, was regelgemäß einem würdigen Empfänger gegeben wird, als unerschöpflich verkündet. Seine Frucht gilt als zehnfach gegenüber einem Homa, und die Frucht des Japa ist noch größer.
