Transliteration

pitṛbhyo dīyate dānaṃ bhaktiśraddhāsamanvitaiḥ | paścājjāgaraṇaṃ kuryātsatkathāśravaṇādibhiḥ

Translation

Den Pitṛs (Ahnen) soll man Gaben darbringen, von Hingabe und Glauben begleitet. Danach halte man Nachtwache, indem man heilige Erzählungen hört und weitere fromme Observanzen übt.
