Transliteration

tena sampāditā lokāstapasā sasurāsurāḥ | jagmuste śaraṇaṃ sarve devadevaṃ śacīpatim

Translation

Durch seine Tapas gerieten die Welten — samt Devas und Asuras — in Aufruhr und Bedrängnis. Darum suchten sie alle Zuflucht beim Herrn der Götter, Śacīs Gemahl, Indra.
