यथा तु दृष्ट्वा भुजगाः सुपर्णं नश्यन्ति मुक्त्वा विषमुग्रतेजः । नश्यन्ति पापानि तथैव शीघ्रं दृष्ट्वा मुखं शूकररूपिणस्तु

yathā tu dṛṣṭvā bhujagāḥ suparṇaṃ naśyanti muktvā viṣamugratejaḥ | naśyanti pāpāni tathaiva śīghraṃ dṛṣṭvā mukhaṃ śūkararūpiṇastu

Wie Schlangen, wenn sie Garuḍa erblicken, zugrunde gehen und ihr schreckliches Gift und ihre wilde Kraft fahren lassen, so vergehen auch die Sünden schnell, wenn man das Antlitz des Herrn schaut, der die Ebergestalt (Varāha) annahm.
