ततः प्रोवाच भगवान्ब्रह्मा लोकपितामहः । एतत्पापं महाघोरं ब्रह्महत्यासमुद्भवम्

tataḥ provāca bhagavānbrahmā lokapitāmahaḥ | etatpāpaṃ mahāghoraṃ brahmahatyāsamudbhavam

Darauf sprach der erhabene Brahmā, der Großvater der Welten: „Diese Sünde ist überaus schrecklich, aus der brahmahatyā hervorgegangen.“
