Transliteration

tajjalaṃ pītamātraṃ tu tvarayā cātitarṣitaḥ | akāmātsalilaṃ pītvā prakṣālya nayane śubhe

Translation

Von Durst gequält und in Eile trank er nur ein wenig von jenem Wasser. Dann, ohne es zu beabsichtigen, wusch er nach dem Trunk seine glückverheißenden Augen.
