यदा च नोत्थितः सुप्तः पुत्रः पञ्चत्वमागतः । तदा सा दीनवदना रुरोद च मुमोह च

yadā ca notthitaḥ suptaḥ putraḥ pañcatvamāgataḥ | tadā sā dīnavadanā ruroda ca mumoha ca

Als aber das schlafende Kind nicht aufstand—denn wahrlich war es in den Zustand der fünf Elemente (den Tod) eingegangen—da weinte sie, das Antlitz von Elend gesenkt, und sank in verwirrte Ohnmacht.
