Transliteration a̱yáṃ ve̱náś codáyat pṛ́śnigarbʰā̱ jyóti̱r jarāyū́ rájaso vimā́ne | imám apā́ṃ saṅgamé sū́ryasya śíśuṃ na víprā matíbʰī rihanti | upayā́magṛhīto'si márkāya tvā
Translation Dieser Vena hat das scheckig-embryonale (Licht) angetrieben, den Glanz mit seiner Hülle, im abgemessenen Bereich des Luftraums. Am Zusammenfluss der Wasser, am Begegnungsort der Sonne, lecken ihn die Weisen gleichsam wie ein Kind mit ihren Gedanken. „Mit dem Upayāma bist du ergriffen; für die Markā (Trankspende) (bist) du.“
