Transliteration hótā yákṣad ójo ná vī́ryaṃ sáho dvā́ra índram avardhayan | su·prāyaṇā́ asmín yajñé ví śrayantām ṛtā·vṛ́dho dvā́ra índrāya mīḍhúṣe vyantu ā́jyasya hótar yája
Translation Der Hotṛ soll opfern: gleichsam die Tore haben Indra gemehrt mit Kraft, mit Heldenmacht, mit Stärke. Mögen die schön herannahenden Tore, durch ṛta erstarkend, sich in diesem Opfer weithin ausbreiten; mögen sie sich weit öffnen für Indra, den Freigebigen, für die Ghee-Spende (ā́jya). O Hotṛ, opfere!
