Inquiry into the Unity of Śiva and Śakti
Para–Apara Ontology

It teaches the inseparability of Pati (Śiva) and His śakti (divine power): transcendence and immanence function together, and liberation is understood through this non-severable divine unity.
In Linga worship, Śiva is adored as the supreme Lord while His śakti is implicitly present as the power by which grace, purification, and manifestation occur—so devotion to Śiva is never devoid of Śakti’s presence.
Contemplate Śiva with Śakti as one reality while repeating the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), and offer bhasma (tripuṇḍra) with the intent of receiving Śiva’s grace (anugraha) through His śakti.
