Suta Goswami (narrating Shiva’s ritual procedure to the sages of Naimisharanya)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: liberating
It emphasizes that Shiva-worship is received through proper guidance: the Guru leads the seeker into the sacred space, and the disciple expresses surrender through pradakṣiṇā—an embodied acknowledgment that Śiva (Pati) is the central refuge and goal.
The instruction to enter the maṇḍala and circumambulate Śambhu aligns with saguna upāsanā—approaching Śiva in a worshipable form (often the Liṅga) within a consecrated ritual boundary, honoring Him as present and accessible to devotion.
A structured pūjā-step: under the Guru’s direction, enter the worship maṇḍala and perform three pradakṣiṇās around Śiva/Śiva-liṅga, maintaining mindful reverence and right-sided circumambulation (pradakṣiṇa).
