शिवसंस्कार-दीक्षानिरूपणम् (Śivasaṃskāra and the Typology of Dīkṣā)
तोषयेत्तं प्रयत्नेन मनसा कर्मणा गिरा । तावदाराधयेच्छिष्यः प्रसन्नोसौ भवेद्यथा
toṣayettaṃ prayatnena manasā karmaṇā girā | tāvadārādhayecchiṣyaḥ prasannosau bhavedyathā
Mit ernsthaftem Bemühen soll man ihn durch Geist, Tat und Wort erfreuen. Der Schüler soll weiter dienen und verehren, bis der Guru gnädig zufrieden ist.
