दुर्वाससः तपः-प्रभावः तथा देवाः ब्रह्म-विष्ण्वोः शरणागमनम् | Durvāsā’s Tapas and the Devas’ Appeal to Brahmā and Viṣṇu

अम्बरीष उवाच । यद्यस्ति दत्तमिष्टं च स्वधर्मो वा स्वनुष्ठितः । कुलं नो विप्रदैवं चेद्धरेरस्त्रं प्रशाम्यतु

Ambarīṣa sprach: „Wenn in meinen Gaben und Opfern Verdienst ist, oder in der treu vollzogenen eigenen Pflicht—wenn die Brahmanen wahrhaft die göttlichen Hüter unseres Geschlechts sind—dann möge Haris Waffe sich besänftigen.“
