बाणासुरस्य शङ्करस्तुतिः तथा युद्धयाचनम् | Bāṇāsura’s Praise of Śiva and Petition for Battle

दोस्सहस्रं त्वया दत्तं परं भाराय मेऽभवेत् । त्रिलोक्यां प्रतियोद्धारं न लभे त्वदृते समम्

Transliteration

dossahasraṃ tvayā dattaṃ paraṃ bhārāya me'bhavet | trilokyāṃ pratiyoddhāraṃ na labhe tvadṛte samam

Translation

„Die Gabe von tausend Armen, die du mir verliehen hast, würde mir zur schweren Last werden. In den drei Welten finde ich keinen Gegner, der dir gleich wäre – außer dir gibt es keinen Vergleichbaren.“
